After working with Karen, it was apparent why she has sold only two homes in the last 12 months. We were offering our home for sale by owner, which immediately became evident displeased Karen. We were treated poorly from the first contact. Firstly, Karen believed she could take advantage of an unrepresented seller, by requesting we take our home off the market without her buyer proffering the customary deposit while they sold their home. We declined that offer. The buyer decided to proceed with a contract on the home. After the inspection was complete, we were first presented with one item to repair, via a telephone call from Karen. After the repairs were arranged, we asked if that was the only item on the list. We then received an email with several other items. We worked on getting these items scheduled and finally, several days later, we got the actual inspection report, which now included additional items. The contract required that we receive one list to be all inclusive of the items needing attention, not a protracted item by item account of the issues. We have sold many homes and have never been presented with inspection items one at a time. It was very unprofessional and stressful on our end. After scheduling the contractors and making repairs Karen, showed her lack of understanding of the mechanical and utility systems of a home by focusing on frivolous issues that had nothing to do with the repairs. One of our contractors backed out of the job and told us they chose not to work with her. Every day of the sales process brought a new nasty note from Karen. We understand that she was working for the buyer, but a professional agent is able to represent their client without treating the seller with contempt.

I was so lucky to have Karen as my realtor. I live in PA and when I was ready to purchase a property in OC, MD Karen guided me through the process with ease. WONDERFUL PERSON!!! Karen is one of the most caring people I know. When we were looking to buy a home , she was always on top of things. Her flexibility was one of the best things about her. We were from out of town , and she was always there at the last minute. She stood by our side , and helped us with every question all the way to the end. Very knowledgeable and was always one step ahead of us. Still today we stay in touch and think of her often. I recommend her to anybody that is wanting to buy. She will make you very happy ...we honestly love her !!!

Karen was extremely helpful to us in the process of purchasing our beach house in Ocean Pines, MD. When we started looking, we were not as familiar with the area and were not certain about what type of home to purchase. Karen patiently showed us a wide range of homes in different sections of Ocean City and Ocean Pines. We decided we wanted a waterfront home and she showed us more homes, while respecting our price range. She has lived in the area for many years and was a great source of local information. She was also well-versed with the market and has researched comparables. We never felt pressured to make an offer on any of the properties she showed. She made it clear that her goal was to help us find the home of our dreams. When we found the right house, she helped guide us regarding making a reasonable offer and down payment. She recommended an excellent, knowledgeable, and meticulous home inspector. She helped us with tough negotiations with the sellers. She was always available for questions even on evenings and weekends. She communicated counter-offers and issues that arose in a timely fashion. There was a lot of back and forth with the sellers and their realtor, who weren't as responsive. At one point, we gave up and wanted to look at other homes. Karen was supportive and found more houses for us to see. We felt she was looking out for our best interest all the way. In the end, we were able to purchase the house we wanted at a price and terms with which we were comfortable. We were so fortunate to have worked with Karen. We've purchased other houses in the past and the service Karen provided to us surpassed our expectations. We like her so much that we've kept in touch and she continues to be an invaluable resource regarding tradespeople and local places and happenings. You can't ask for a better realtor than Karen.

Karen was exceptional from day one of our association with her in our search and ultimate purchase of a condo in Ocean City. She went above and beyond what we had expected and previously experienced in an agent. She thoroughly explained everything along the way and identified and resolved issues we would have never even known to question.
